CEDO has a dry lab that was renovated in 2005 with funds from a National Science Foundation award to improve research and education infrastructure and enhance educational opportunities. It is designed for access to multi-user equipment for resident scientists, visiting scientists and graduate students conducting research and for very small classes under direct faculty supervision.
Faculty with visiting classes may use the lab, but access is limited because of the amount of equipment in the lab and because of the limited space. Students are not to use any equipment except under direct and continual supervision of a faculty/instructor who is familiar with the equipment.

Equipment available in the laboratory includes microscope, stereoscopes, centrifuge, freezer, refrigerator, convection oven, muffle furnace, spectrophotometer, balance, analytical balance and a variety of labware and small electronics. Visiting researchers should plan to bring all their consumable materials and supplies. Read our complete research station and laboratory policies
Visiting classes, researchers, graduate students, etc., should ensure they request lab access in advance of their visit using the research application. Note that collecting biological specimens in Mexico requires permits from appropriate federal agencies, such as SEMARNAT and SAGARPA.
CEDO has wireless broad band access and limited desk space for visiting researchers. We also have a small library.
Forms are fillable PDF format. Download free Adobe Reader.
