Join us May 1 for CEDO’s 30th Anniversary Celebration at Hotel Congress in Tucson
CEDO would like to invite you to our 30th anniversary celebration, taking place on Saturday, May 1 at historic Hotel Congress in downtown Tucson. The free fiesta is from 2 to 8pm and is open to the public. We would love to commemorate this important milestone with you.
Salvador Duran, Michael J. Ronstadt, Mariachi Espuelas de Plata, Last Call Girls, and Hector and the Javelinas will be providing live musical entertainment. Sustainable seafood, children's activities - including hands-on fun with marine tidepool creatures and desert critters, and educational booths on CEDO's programs will all be a part of the festivities. Food and drink will be available for sale, as well as beautiful CEDO t-shirts, posters, and other marine and desert gifts.
Stories from current staff members and key figures in the history of CEDO will illuminate the important conservation work, research and educational outreach CEDO has undertaken over the last 30 years in the Gulf of California and Sonoran Desert. Conservation awards will be presented to individuals who have strived to make the Gulf region a better place, whether through education, research or conservation.

Sign Your Child Up Today for our 2010 Wet Feet Ocean Camp
Summer 2010 has a whale of an adventure open for your child in marine biology! Join CEDO for our annual overnight summer camp, for youth ages 10-13. For five days and four nights (6/24-6/28) children will explore the varied ecosystems of the Northern Gulf of California in Mexico, including the marine intertidal zone and a local estuary (both areas have an abundance of marine life).
Accommodations are at the CEDO field station in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora. An optional trip to Isla San Jorge, an island off the shore of the Puerto Peñasco area, is available for children and parents, with activities including snorkeling with sea lions.
Visit the Wet Feet Ocean Camp webpage for more details and to reserve your child's spot today.
