Opportunities often arise to promote sustainable development, or to protect land from destructive development.  We have created this fund so that we can take swift action to protect these irreplaceable wetlands, and support the livelihoods of those who depend upon them.

The Peñasco Estero Conservation Fund will enable us to:

- Respond quickly to actions which threaten the esteros of Puerto Peñasco.
- Take action to conserve their aquatic and terrestrial biodiversity.
    - Legal Defense
    - Restoration
    - Species Protection
- Priority Zone Conservation.
- Share information about critical wetland issues with the community.
    - Educational Campaigns
    - Signage
- Increase citizen participation in conservation
