Natural History Talk
- A CEDO tradition! Afternoon natural history talks will give you background on local ecology and help answer many of your questions about the area. Every Tuesday and Saturday afternoons are free. To schedule a talk for another time, please contact CEDO.

Pinacate Peregrination

- Venture into the heart of the Pinacate volcanic region to learn about the the geologic processes involved in the formation of this spectacular area. Explore the lava flows, craters, and other geologic wonders of the Pinacate Biosphere Reserve with CEDO experts. Approximately 6 hours.

Tide Riding Kayak Tour (NaturArte)

- Ride one of the largest tide movements on the continent and reach places inaccessible by any other means. Navigate through these essential desert oases to discover the rich plant and animal life within the estuaries. Afterward, visit a local oyster cooperative on the banks of the estuary and enjoy a delicious seafood meal under the shade of a palapa. Approximately 6-7 hours.

Tidepool Tour
- An awesome way to experience the incredible tides of the Northern Gulf of California. The secrets of the tidepools are revealed by CEDO naturalists during this excursion to the rocky intertidal zone. Discover the unique world of brittle stars, octopi, fire worms, crabs, chitons and all of their invertebrate companions. An extremely fun, hands-on experience. Approximately 2 hours.

Wetland Bird Walk

- Join CEDO for a birdwatching exploration in Estero Morúa. A rich habitat for sandpipers, plovers, terns, gulls, grebes, curlews, herons and more. Bring binoculars and bird guides if you have them. Approximately 3 hours.

Hidden Universe Estero Tour (NaturArte)

- Enjoy hiking through a local estuary and observing the great diversity of life that can be found there: fiddler crabs, snails, fish and birds, creatures all incredibly adapted to the extreme conditions. Meet the founders of a local oyster cooperative and enjoy a delicious seafood lunch prepared with the freshest oysters you can find, cultivated right there in the estuary. Approximately 6-7 hours.

International Coastal Cleanup
- Assist neighbors, community organizations and schools in cleaning up our beaches and estuaries. Our partners include the Ocean Conservancy, OOMISLIM and the Peñasco Municipal Government and State Tourism Office. Great for families and groups of all sizes. Contact CEDO for more information.
